Miles Borges, the president of the firm, holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree from the University of New Mexico, graduating in 1980. He is a registered structural engineer with more than 25 years of experience in structural analysis and design. Before joining the firm, he worked at CTA Architects Engineers and also at Anderson DeBartolo Pan Architects Engineers. Borges’ design work has covered new construction, renovations, and evaluations of existing facilities. He has extensive experience utilizing all current building materials and he is thoroughly familiar with structural building codes. In his free time, he enjoys fly-fishing and astronomy.
Alfred Hendrickson was educated at the University of Wyoming, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering in 1990. He worked for several years for CTA Architects Engineers in Billings, Montana, before joining Whitten & Borges in March of 1998. He became a partner at the firm in 2007. Hendrickson has experience in a variety of projects, including health care facilities, industrial facilities, educational facilities, and custom residences. Hendrickson serves as vice-president of the firm. After five o’clock, Hendrickson can be found spending time with his family and his vintage Toyota trucks.
William C. Freese is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Licensed in 2008, Freese has been a structural design engineer with the firm since 2004. At Whitten & Borges, Freese manages projects, performs calculations and interprets building codes to meet our clients’ needs. Freese is adept at developing 3D computer models and applying those models to solve structural problems. He is active in professional organizations, and is a director for the Structural Engineers Association of Montana. When not in the office, you can find him fishing, skiing, shooting, and enjoying the mountain west.
Lindsey McLaughlin, Lindsey McLaughlin is a drafter for the firm. After high school Lindsey moved around a bit, working a handful of other professions along the way. In 2011 Lindsey settled in Billings, Montana with her husband and daughter. Lindsey attended Montana State University – Billings City College, where she will earn her AAS degree in May. In her free time Lindsey enjoys gardening, hiking, and camping with her family.
