Annie Creek Restaurant & Retail, Mazama Village, Crater Lake, Oregon
 
This 10,000 square foot building was designed by A&E Architects. Sited at 6,000 feet of elevation, it houses a restaurant and a gift shop. Designed to handle roof snow loads in excess of 300 pounds per square foot, the roof system is framed with short span wood trusses and steel wide flange girder beams. The lateral force resisting system is comprised of wood panel shear walls. Completed in 2006 at a cost of $2,750,000, the project achieved a LEED Silver rating.
